I haven't posted anything for some time. My journey, especially over the past three years has been tough. The photo above is my dad, my nephew and my nephew's two boys. It was taken March 11, 2012. In less than a year my dad passed away.

The photo below is of my mom writing on a piece of shale for a temporary marker for my dad's grave. Photo taken April 2013. In less than two years she would also pass away.

The photo below was taken at my mom's graveside service on March 1, 2015. The man seated is my brother Kim. The man standing beside him is my mom's brother Leland. Three weeks after this photo was taken Leland passed away. Nine weeks after this photo Kim passed away from a brain tumor.

Besides the ones pictured here, my dad's brother passed away 5 days before my mom. He was the last of my dad's siblings. Through all of this God has been good to me. I continue to sing with a men's chorus, in my church choir, and with a worship team at church. I have two children of my own and nine others who call me dad. I have two grandsons of my own and two boys and two girls that call me grandpa so life is still good.
